Overview
Fire doors are part of fire walls and escape routes and must self-close and hold back smoke and fire for the rated time. The rating comes from testing the complete door set, including hardware.
In Vietnam, fire doors need a fire equipment inspection certificate before installation. Locks, closers or vision panels must not be changed from the tested design.

- Check the fire inspection label and certificate of the door set
- Check self-closing, tight fit and seals
