Overview
TPO and PVC membranes are mechanically fixed to the deck or adhered, with seams hot-air welded into a homogeneous joint. White surfaces reflect heat, lowering roof temperature and cooling loads.
Single-ply roofs are common on FDI plants, logistics hubs and data centres with large flat roofs. Where the insurer requires it, choose a system (deck, insulation, membrane, fasteners) approved to FM 4470.
