Overview
Gate valves suit full open/close on buried mains; butterfly valves are compact and light for large diameters in plant rooms; check valves prevent backflow after pumps. Balancing valves distribute flow correctly in chilled-water systems.
Select by nominal pressure, body and disc materials, end connections (flanged, threaded, grooved) and fluid. Fire service valves need the relevant approvals and supervisory switches where required.
