Overview
Lay-in ceilings give easy access to electrical, HVAC and fire services above. Mineral tiles absorb sound; PVC-faced gypsum tiles resist moisture and wipe clean; metal tiles last in corridors, lobbies and wet areas.
Cleanrooms use sealed, gasketed ceilings that withstand pressure differences and chemical cleaning. The grid must carry lights and diffusers and be hung at the right hanger spacing to avoid sagging.
