Overview

Bonded anchors transfer load through the bond between resin, rod and hole wall, so they do not create expansion stresses in the concrete. They suit small edge distances, post-installed rebar in slabs and beams, and equipment anchoring.

Capacity depends on hole cleaning (blow, brush, blow), embedment depth, temperature and curing time. Use products with a European Technical Assessment (ETA) or ACI 355.4 qualification and proof-test on site.

Uses

  • 01Post-installed rebar for plant extensions
  • 02Anchoring plates and column bases to existing concrete
  • 03Equipment and pipe support anchors
  • 04Structural strengthening

Selection and acceptance checks

  • Clean holes exactly as the maker specifies
  • Respect the curing time for the temperature
  • Site proof-load tests at the specified rate
