Overview
Grout is poured into the gap between base plate and foundation to spread load evenly with no voids. Cementitious grout is common for column bases and anchor pockets; epoxy grout is used under machines exposed to vibration, impact and chemicals.
The concrete surface must be rough, clean and saturated before pouring cementitious grout. Formwork must be tight, grout poured continuously from one side to push air out, and cured as instructed.
